The World Bank contracted Greenlight in collaboration with ECA to conduct an in-depth market assessment for off-grid solar in Mozambique. The scope of the work included market research, policy analysis, regulatory assessment as well as recommendations for WB support to the sector. The assignment focused on market data collection including baseline energy use data and Market Willingness to Pay (MWTP) data of communities in Manica, Zambezia, and Maputo provinces. The fieldwork was carried out in collaboration between GreenLight and FUNAE staff in all provinces.
