Assessment of current projects on renewable energy (with partners SINTAF and UCAMA) and mapping and exploration of new possibilities for renewable energy projects that contribute to the productivity of rural households in project areas of FOS. The assignment had three objectives:
1) An evaluation of their existing projects on renewable energy through an analysis of existing reports, through interviews with key informants, and a field visit.
2) Develop a mapping of organizations working in the field of renewable energy, environment, and climate change in Mozambique, and organizations that might have possible linkages to the ongoing activities of FOS
3) A concise overview of Mozambican legislation and public policy in the area of renewable energy, environment, and climate change.
